We're delighted to offer our farm as a location to capture your clients' most precious memories. With fields of sunflowers, wildflowers, rolling hills of greenscape, woodlands, ponds, a seasonal pumpkin patch, and more, our farm offers many scenic photography options.

Photography session bookings include nearly unlimited access to our farm, excluding residences. Photographers and their clients will enjoy the privacy and ease of having the farm to themselves. No other visitors will be present. Work may continue on the farm, but we will be sure to stay out of your way.

Photography Session Rates

1 Hour ~ $30

1/2 Hour ~ $20

Seesion rates are based on one photographic subject: i.e. one family, one couple, one senior. Thus, photographers wishing to book consecutive sessions with multiple photographic subjects (such as 1/2 hour mini sessions) would pay the 1/2 hour rate for each family/couple/senior.

Full payment is required to reserve your date and is fully refundable up to 48 hours prior to the session.

We will happily reschedule sessions for inclement weather.

During Your Photography Session

  • Do not trespass on our property during non-scheduled hours. Only guests who have reserved a photography session with us will be allowed to enter the farm for photography.

  • Remember our farm is also our home. It is private property. We are a working farm. Please be respectful and do not damage any structures, equipment, or crops while trying to capture your perfect photo. Please be kind to our animals and respectful of their space as well.

  • We don't mind vehicles on our pastures, but please ask permission. We have a few designated roads, but mostly open fields. We can direct you where is best to drive or where to avoid. If you or your clients get stuck or damage your vehicle, it is your responsibility. Any large equipment or props need our prior notice, just so we are aware. Let us know if we can help you in any way!

  • Photographers must check in with us upon arrival and send us a quick text to let us know when you're leaving.

  • A signed Release of Liability agreement is required for photographers, all clients, and any other participants.

  • Windmill Hill assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any equipment or belongings. Please take out anything you bring in, do not litter, and do not damage our property.

  • Photographers and their clients may not freely pick flowers or other produce, nor touch our animals. Upon request and possibly an additional fee, we may cut fresh blooms or produce for you to use as props.

  • U-Pick is not included in the photography rental fee. If you or your clients would like to partake in a u-pick experience, then u-pick fees are required. If you would like information on availability of animals as props, please send us a message before booking.

  • We are available to oversee photography sessions or will give you privacy. Let us know your intentions and preferences. We are willing to accommodate.

  • If any of our photography policies are violated, we will require your immediate departure from the farm without refund.
