Born, raised, and finished on our pastures. All-natural Windmill Hill beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. Cattle raised on all grass farms produce nutrient-dense, delicious cuts of beef. All of our livestock are raised without the use of antibiotics, steroids, or added growth hormones.

Chicken

Chickens were born to scratch and peck, and that's exactly what they do here. Moving daily across our pastures, our birds are free to forage and bathe in the sunshine. In addition to protein-rich bugs and grass seed, our chickens are also supplemented with complete nutrition feed milled here locally in Mississippi. The result is a flavorful bird who lived a happy, purposeful life without the use of antibiotics, steroids, or added growth hormones.

Pastured & Forested

Pork

Farrow-to-finish, our pigs live on our farm from the day they are born until they are harvested. Depending on the time of year and trending heat index, our pigs are raised either on pasture or in the shade of the wooded areas of our property. Our pigs are free to root and forage for whatever interests them. However, unlike ruminants that have four-chambered stomachs and can digest more fibrous plant matter, pigs have a digestive tract that requires a feed ration to thrive and gain weight beyond what they can forage. We supplement a complete nutrition feed milled here locally in Mississippi. Heritage breed pigs raised outdoors in low stress environments produce meat with higher nutrients, more fat and better flavor.
